They say experience is the teacher
of all things
Well, they didn’t; Julius Caesar did. I’ve learned a huge amount during my (almost) 20-year career. I’ve swam in the deep waters of learning and development, paddled in diversity and inclusion, and amassed some skills that money truly can’t buy (like knowing when a client or team is teetering on the edge of a breakthrough, or how to read a room of 1,000 people and pivot mid-sentence). I’ve graduated with honours from the school of getting stuck in, but I also have some good old-fashioned qualifications as well. Just in case you’re interested.
MA in Human Resource Management
University of Westminster
In this masters programme, I focused my academic studies on: Strategic HRM; Organisation Analysis, Design and Development; Managing Organisational Change and Reward and Recognition. For my dissertation, I analysed the impact of talent development interventions on levels of employee engagement.

In this Level 7, two-year programme, I studied the academic elements and practical application of coaching and mentoring.
Certificate in Training Delivery Skills

Other qualifications
I also have a degree in Music, a grade 8 ABRSM in singing and my BAGA level 3 in gymnastics (from 1990. I’m just waiting for the day it’ll come in useful).
